Why this line exists.
May 17, 2026
The line is small on purpose. Ten scents. Three formats. A short ingredient list. Nothing else.
The shower had become a chemistry final you took every morning. The back of the bottle ran three columns deep. The front said “clean” and “pure” and “wellness.” You finished the shower and you could not name a single thing that had just been on your skin.
A bottle should not be a puzzle. A scent should not be an argument. A body wash should be a wash. The line started there.
The label names what leads. Lemon. Turmeric root. Hyaluronic acid. Squalane. Panthenol. The ones that read on you. If an ingredient does not earn its name on the label, it does not get a slot in the lead. The shortlist is the work.
Ten scents, not thirty. Thirty is a wall of choices that look the same on a phone. Ten is a shelf you can read in one breath. Pick the family first. Pick the scent inside it second.
“Built different. From Detroit.” is not a posture. It is the absence of a few things. No synthetic fragrance. No parabens. No sulfates. No founder myth. The product is the pitch. What is in the bottle, what is on the label, what reads on the skin.
Founded in Detroit, 2018. The brand started with one scent and one format. Turmeric Citrus Grove, body wash. Lemon over a turmeric floor. The rest of the line came from people asking what else.
Detroit is the brand identity. It is the lens. It is the eye for what is durable and unfussy. The brand is from Detroit.
The invitation is small. Try one bottle. Read it on the way out of the shower. If the scent is wrong, send it back inside thirty days. The line is not asking for a lifestyle. It is asking for a shelf slot.
