Lemon

Lemon is the top note. It is the first part of the scent the nose finds, and the first part to leave. Cold-pressed citrus oils have been a building block of perfumery and household goods for centuries because of exactly this property: they read instantly and they get out of the way. In the line, lemon sits over a turmeric floor in a single scent, Turmeric Citrus Grove. It carries the bright. Turmeric carries the rest.

In the lather, lemon reads sharp and quick. By the time the warm water hits the skin, it is already on its way out. What stays is the round, golden floor underneath. The contrast is the whole point. Cool over warm. High over low. Fast over slow. One reads first. The other reads last.

In these scents: Turmeric Citrus Grove. In these formats: Body Wash, Body Lotion, Bar Soap, Body Scrub.
